ART 211: Rual Cuerco Concepts to life
Raul Cuerco is a man of many talents, but he had been treated as an unintellectual individual because of his race. Not one person wanted to look at him as a smart person, but through his struggles he found the wisdom to live his life with a better perspective. In the interview he had pointed out many ways to live life in a way that benefits you as a person. The concepts that he introduced were how he lived his own life and how he eventually benefitted from living the way that he did.
Raul says that everything is possible if you try hard enough. In everyday life, many people are discouraged to do certain things because of laziness or the thought of failure. Raul has a different approach. Raul says, "Focus without the fear of failing." and "do everything with intensity." He goes on to say that intensity is what makes a process complete. Everything in everyday life is a process, and applying the concept of not fearing the inevitable, work with intensity, and try hard everyday, will allow people to succeed in everyday life. People tend to believe that if its inevitable, then its hopeless. However, successful people do not think this way, and that is why everyday people should also think this way. People are so easy to give up, and not see a different side to something. Like Raul has mentioned, the only way to succeed and reject any negativity, is to develop who you are as a person and change your expectations.
Ideas don't strategically come up in a persons mind. Ideas are a form of creativity within us all. Some people struggle to come up with ideas, and say that they are not creative enough. Raul says, "Whatever we do with thermal ideas everything comes from nature." I believe he means that the ideas that we come up with are only apart of nature and our ability to think as intellectual humans. For people who cannot come with ideas fast enough or just can't come up with anything period, they must keep in mind, Raul says ideas emerge through interactions with other ideas. So if someone isn't able to come up with anything, they should get other peoples ideas and collaborate so that they can eventually come up with something. Ideas don't have to be an individual thing. These concepts are important to keep in mind, I believe that it can help people in everyday life, and if everyone thought and did the same as Raul says, there's a possibility in improvement in technology, human interaction, and possibly work ethic.
