The Color Purple, staring Cynthia Erivo and Jennifer Hudson was one of the most soulful, inspiring, and beautiful broadways I've ever seen. Originally there based on Jennifer Hudson's appearance, I was quickly drawn in to the beautiful voices of everyone else. It was no longer about who famous was playing the roles, it was about who was playing the roles, and they were playing it well. Cynthia Erivo's performance was phenomenal. Her voice carried out her soul, and mine as well. I saw the play January of Senior year of high school for a theatre trip to New York. This Broadway is something I would recommend to anybody. It tells the hardships of family and love, hurt and regret. It highlights the ideals and expectations of society, to the strength of feminism and desire. Growing up, everyone in my family knew of The Color Purple. I was excited to see that it has become a play, and the play did not let me down. Not one bit. It was the type of play you would laugh, cry and sympa...
Suzuki’s demonic mood board is her as a demon. Her demon is at the moment a separate entity from her human personality. She is wild, crazy, and matches the color of blood. She is dangerous. She is born from both the devil and a human, so this is her demonic side. Ssuzukis mood board is her usual self. She is sweet, kind, full of joy and when you think of her you think of sugary ness, comfort, and soft. For The antagonist, I choose a hellish board.
For this Autoscopy I chose to represent my anxiety/past depression. There was a period in time where I was depressed but I told no one because I didn't believe anyone cared, so if I showed my problems to my friends or family it was like giving someone a present. The other me represents what my dad wants me to be deep inside. I can tell that he wanted me to be in the military but he also wants me to be myself. 0% quality 25% quality 50% quality 75% quality 100% quality
