For this Autoscopy I chose to represent my anxiety/past depression. There was a period in time where  I was depressed but I told no one because I didn't believe anyone cared, so if I showed my problems to my friends or family it was like giving someone a present. The other me represents what my dad wants me to be deep inside. I can tell that he wanted me to be in the military but he also wants me to be myself. 0% quality  25% quality  50% quality  75% quality  100% quality

For this project I chose to place myself in Kyoto because even though I've lived in japan, I've never been to Kyoto.

This my poster. I based it off of things that I was told growing up. People often told me that I should be something else other than an artist to defy what people think about black people, like to be a doctor or a nurse. I was often told I had to work twice as hard even if I am good enough, and art isn't something I should go for. However, as a digital artist, I want to destroy stereotypes. This is why I decided to include my hands holding a paint brush (cause if I was holding a tablet I don't think that would work with the black and white). My skin does not define who I am, or what I stand for. The only way for someone to define who I am, is to know who I am.  This is the Experiments! Although there was a limited use of three colors, I decided to play with the color, especially skin colors.

This is my Calligram project. estimated time 8 hours. Originally it was based off a drawing that I had made. Originally I wanted it to have her immersed in water with water falling backwards onto her, but it quickly changed to a game of reflection underwater due to the difficulties of making it look like water. These are the original sketches in order.

Hours : 15 Est. Dreamweaver is one of the hardest programs I ever worked on. I am used to working on programs such as Photoshop, Paint Tool Sai, and Clip Studio Paint Pro, so for me this was really different. Coding was difficult because if you even mess up a coordinate or spell something wrong, the whole picture will temporarily disappear. I love the fact that I have learned a little bit of coding.   This is my project. I decided to do a character I have been drawing for a while. Near the end of the project, I wanted to do some sort of illusion with the eyes and the background, just to be experimental. I figured that the circles were going to be my main part. The background is even a circle. This is the second homework for Dreamweaver. It was hard at first getting the basic shape of the apple, but I believe it came out ok in the end.
