My project is a combination of lunch and conversation. The avocado represents the dial, the sandwich, the base of the phone, the elbow noodles, the cord, and the apple, banana, and orange is made up of the phone. My reasoning for creating such a mass of food is simply because of the idea of healthiness vs unhealthiness. We are told that being on our electronics causes loss of brain cells and inability to learn in a specific way. People of the younger generation tend to not care and hold on to electronics almost as an obsession, but what if electronics were healthy food? If we treated our body how we treat our electronics, perhaps we would have a better perspective on healthiness. My idea came to me from looking at my own life. my inspirations actually came from my dinner. While I was prodding around, seeing what I should eat, I found myself dragging my phone along with me, as if it was another part of my arm. Noticing this caused me to create such a piece. Other inspirations came ...
For my project I decided to focus on the meaning of worth and worthlessness. Sometimes people give more credit to feeling worthless than feeling that they are worth it. To illustrate this concept, I made Worth as a girl trapped under a black and white environment in the wet and cold, and gave worthlessness a beautiful look. I made worthlessness wear a dress of red to symbolize demons. When people continuously say they are worthless, they are giving worthlessness a spotlight, and leaving their worth in the dark. For the effects of the video, I did a lot of reverse, speeding up, color change, tv simulator effects, and black and white effects. I used final cut pro and a T3i rebel camera. It was a lot of fun filming it in the water, but it was a mess as well. Originally I was supposed to film outside, but I decided that if I film the two elements where it looks like they are trapped, it would be better. I want people to realize how much they are worth. I decided to do this concept...
For this project I used characters that I had created. The characters background makes sense for the animation I created. The girl and boy are mortal enemies and assassins, but also childhood friends, they follow a one sided love for the man. For the animation they start off in a fight but the man starts to show off his skills, and even kisses her. She gets angry and throws her last weapon, but he ends up catching it and drawing 'I love you' on the tree. Originally it was supposed to be digital and even longer than 200 frames, but hearing about this project, I took the liberty to start the animation and end it differently. I find it interesting that some people do this on a daily basis. stop motion is already tedious enough, and this project was fun but also frustrating. I wanted it to be a lot more detailed than It was but I didn't have enough time. this project also allowed me to play around. The hardest part of this project was probably the scene where they...
